"NEON GENESIS EVANGELION" lyrics: M-4 & M-13
These are the two main choral pieces created for "End of Evangelion". The first one, M-4, made it into the movie as both "Hajimari e no touhi" ("Escape to the Beginning") and "Taihou e no kinkyuu hinan" ("From Emergency Refuge into Regression"). The second, M-13, is available only on "S² Works" and was never entitled by Anno, although its music menu listing describes it as "A-4 heavy version". (A-4 is the song "BORDERLINE CASE". M-4 is an arranged version of A-10, "MOTHER IS THE FIRST OTHER".)
The lyrics to either of these songs are not provided on "END" or "S² Works". Fortunately, the same words, almost entirely unchanged, are used in "Outro" and "Evantroduction" from the "VOX" album. Presented here are versions accurate to M-4 and M-13, purposely transcribed to lack proper punctuation (you know, just to give them an authentic feel ;;>). Enjoy!
